It was a cold December morning . Nini used to go for unchanging morning
walk along with her mobile phone . Her mobile phone is the only gadget that
makes her mind happy. She is familiar with the foggy mornings of winter , she
loves to capture every exceptional moments with her phone camera. She has
started reducing the habit of wearing a watch, the routine of talking to people
over phone calls, the style of recalling her near and dear one’s birthday. She feels like that her cell phone copes up
any matter or event that is inclined to her . She keeps herself busy within the
phone during the whole day . She is busy with her 5000 facebook friends. She is
chatting with her 800 phone contacts via Whatsapp . She is happy indeed. In
fact she forgot the manner of not
touching her phone while talking to the seniors. She is neither a Tech Savvy
nor a Netizen, rather she has become a cellcoholic . Somehow she consigns to
oblivion that, she too had a really happy life without her cell phone.
This addiction of mobile phone has made her mind cruel and impatient . She
has nurtured a habit of getting things done on time, but not in a constructive
way rather in a destructive way .
One fine day one of her friend Malik said her that, “See Nini, In the
recent years you have been cultivating the habit of keeping connection with
your family members and relatives, but now you are using whatsapp to keep the contact with them! Communication via facebook or whatsapp is
good, but all the if you use these kind of addictive social medias , you will
forget the basic function of a phone, i.e “calling”
Malik said, “ Nini you might have heard about the word emotion?!”
You are losing it gradually . You have become the girl that was never
meant to before. You have changed, you have started getting casual by days.
Father’s realization : Actually, towards where we are moving ??
Yours sincerely
The care taker.
